Joint Meeting of Committees

GOALS
Provide an opportunity for both committees to meet and discuss the issues, challenges and ideas that have been provided so far.
Identify and review the goals and objectives for each element set in the 1999 Comprehensive Plan to understand which ones have and have not been accomplished.
Compare and contrast the unaccomplished goals from the 1999 Comprehensive Plan with the current challenges, issues, ideas, etc. that have been provided by both committees to date.
Determine viability, value, interest, necessity, etc. in retaining unaccomplished goals from the 1999 Comprehensive Plan for the new plan or how they relate to possible new goals and objectives.
Begin identifying the goals and objectives for the 2009 Comprehensive Plan.
PLEASE NOTE
The Steering Committee progress report meetings scheduled for
November 4 and December 2 have been CANCELLED.
Another joint workshop will be held in late February or early March (Date TBA)
to discuss the Land Use portion of the plan.
